The possibilities offered by the world of Desktop Publishing and Multimedia are virtually countless.
Graphic design and the illustration creations are fascinating ways to serve the advertising, corporate and publishing industries while contributing to the development of ideas and concepts.
Students will learn programming skills for the Multimedia Industry. They will use sound and imagery for CD-ROMs and Internet applications in an interactive environment.

For whom?
This program is for all those who like to use their creativity and who are looking for solid training in graphics and media technology. Applicants must have an aptitude for visual arts and feel comfortable using computers.

Program objectives

  • Learn to use computer graphics software at an advanced level
  • Develop creativity and concepts
  • Acquire knowledge of printing and prepress techniques
  • Learn to professionally use multimedia software for interactive production content on CD-ROM and on the internet

The Graphic and Multimedia Artists will learn how to use their creativity and computer tools to create audio and visual solutions to specific communication problems.

Employment Possibilities
Graphic and Multimedia Artists can work in advertising agencies, graphic arts studios, corporations, for printers, for specialized service offices or as freelance workers at home or in an office, depending on interest and preference.
They can work in publishing, advertising, teaching, industry etc. Multimedia work producing web pages and CD-ROMs is also a possibility.


CALENDAR & TUITION FEES
Computer Graphics for Multimedia, Desktop Publishing & Web Design

  • 3 sessions and Certificates per year, each of 15 weeks (total: 45 weeks)
  • 20 hours of class time per week (300 hours per session and Certificate)
  • 20 hours of lab work per week (free additional workshop time)
  • All classes have a maximum of 12 students.
  • Minimum age is 19 years old (or High School Graduate
Details: Three different Certificates leading to a Diploma
Basic Design Certificate: Introduction to art, computers and basic graphics and multimedia tools
Computer Graphic Certificate: Training and creating on various computer graphics and multimedia software(packages)
Advanced Computer Graphics Certificate: Creating and producing on various computer graphics and multimedia software(packages).
