Dorset
College occupies a historic building within a modern glass complex
called City Square. City Square consists of numerous shops, professional
offices, and restaurants. Dorset is located on major bus routes
close to the centre of Vancouver.
A second
campus is located in New Westminster, a neighbouring city, approximately
15-20 minutes from downtown Vancouver by SkyTrain.

high school teachers have BC teaching certificates, and most teachers
have Masters Degrees or PhDs

offer language services in English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese,
Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, and many other languages to meet
the needs of all of our international students

provide guidance in student visa applications and extensions

Dorset
College S.T.E.P. Program has been created to provide international
youth from all over the world with the opportunity to improve their
English while experiencing firsthand the breathtaking natural beauty
of Canada in a safe, culturally interactive atmosphere. Students
are provided with quality English lessons in the morning and exciting
afternoon activities. During their stay in Canada, students will
live with Canadian families who have been carefully selected for
each individual student.
S.T.E.P.
offers students (ages 16+) the opportunity to improve their English
skills while they explore Vancouver and learn about Canadian culture.
As flexible one-to-two month sessions, the S.T.E.P. Program is tailored
to your interests and sessions may be booked anytime throughout
the year for groups of ten or more students.
